Youth

THE YOUTH MINISTRY at Grace Point is part of a multi-church group known as the "Christian Community Youth Group" (CCYG).
What is CCYG?
We are purposed to offer a Christ centered Bible based community for teens (for teens 7-12 grade connected with an area church or not yet connected with an area church) which meets twice a month (every 2nd Thursday). to be armored with the light of Christ to live for God.
The Vision: To make disciples who will strive to obey Christ in all they do.
The Mission: To offer a Christian community youth group that meets regularly to be armored with the light of Christ to live for God.
One meeting a month this lively group gets together just for fun. During winter months this can include ice skating parties, weekends away at winter camp, or an eat-all-you-can fest at a pizza parlor in downtown Wolfeboro. In the warmer months the group has gone river rafting, commandeered bumper cars, trampled through a corn maze, and spent the weekend at SoulFest.
The second meeting each month those service-to-others muscles have a chance to flex as the group might spend an afternoon raking leaves for a single mom or ministering to the residents of one of Wolfeboro's assisted living facilities.
Location: Meetings are at the First Christian Church of Wolfeboro (83 North Main Street, Wolfeboro) unless otherwise noted. We thank FCC for opening their doors to the youth group, providing a place for us to meet every other Thursday from 6:30pm -8pm to explore the edges of our faith and learn about the God of the Bible.
On study nights, we are using the book “Not a Fan.” by Kyle Idleman as a “spring board” for discussion. The book encourages us to move beyond being a fan of Jesus to becoming a completely committed follower of Jesus.

Summer 2013 Shine
This summer we will explore the importance of living in the world by shining our light and love for Jesus Christ… all the time… no matter what. “…shine like stars in the universe as you hold out the word of life - in order that I may boast on the day of Christ that I did not run or labor for nothing.” Philippians 2:15-16
